Dear Alfonso, a cherished friend, a trusted colleague, a wise mentor, and a delightful muse.
Thoughts and prayers to your family.

Mr. Henderson was a wonderful teacher, really the best. I was lucky enough to be in his art class in junior high. I remember Sonny and Cher was all the rage and we girls had our bangs hanging in our eyes, but not in his class - we had to put them up. He also managed to keep the unruly lot of us focused and I for one learned how to watercolor among other things. Thank you Mr. Henderson.
