Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss, Randy. I know you were an excellent son to your parents. What joy that must have brought them. I know they were loved deeply.

Randy, so sorry for your loss, sounds like he had a wonderful life and marriage for 66 years.
Sondra class of 69

Randy and family, my deepest condolences on the loss of your father. You have mentioned so many good times spent together. He sounds like such an interesting person, and one who was devoted to his family and community. He certainly left his mark in a life well-liveed.

Condolences to you and your family, Randy. Losing a parent is especially difficult since we haven't experienced life without them. It sounds like your father was a wonderful man. I trust your fond memories will bring you comfort.

Mr. Allen and his wife were my next door neighbors when I was a child. I often played with their children. Years late, as a teenager pumping gas at the Texaco station across from Mr. Allen's truck stop I came to know him as a hardworking, honest and highly principled leader of the Oakridge business community. It was a privilege and an honor to have known him. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

A few years ago, I was privileged to be a lunch guest of Mr. Allen, his wife and eldest son (Randy). It was a wonderful time filled with great stories and cherished memories. Mr. Allen is truly an outstanding member of The Greatest Generation. My thoughts and my prayers are with all his family!

I have fond memories of visiting your home in Springfield with my parents and siblings. We stopped by occasionally, and I had my first skiing experience as a child with your family. My parents, Vern and Bernice were very fond of your parents. Dad spoke of your dad with great admiration. I think they had a lot of fun when they were young men living in Cottage Grove! May God bless you and your family. Julee (Thoreson) Wright
