Today at lunch I was visiting with a friend about parent coaches. I recalled the days to him from over 30 years ago that Al Kaufman spent tireless hours coaching pony league football & teaching us what has become life lessons in teamwork. It is with complete irony that JB just called my office to say Al has gone on to the best place.

My prayers this evening will include you and your thoughts.

Dear Rose and kids, as Patty says, Tim and Al are snowmobiling in the snow that is always abundant. Al was great guy and will be missed. Buzz and I hope and pray that your sorrow will turn to loving memories soon.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I often pass by the house and have wondered how Al was doing. It has been many years since I have seen him or Mrs. Kaufman. May your many memories carry you through this sad time. I will be unable to attend the services as I will be in Rochester, but wanted to send my sympathies to you all.
