THE MESSAGE By karen devineLeiti

Well here I am in Heaven at last
After all this time I've been on Earth
It really has gone by so very fast
Since the moment of my birth

I've lived a life of ups and downs
Now I'm with the ones I've loved & lost
There are no tears, or fears or frowns
All negative roads have been crossed

So now there's nothing left but peace
Time is nothing, waiting's not a chore
I've moved UP,...

Atkinson family my condolences to you all in your time of loss. Rich Shelar

She was gentle and kind, and loved her family.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mother....She was an awesome lady!! After reading the obit, I now know where you get the "brainiac" mind of yours, Luther!! Love to all of you, will keep you in my prayers.

Was saddened to read of your Mom's passing and will share the obituary with my mom (June Johnson, 101) today. She & your mom were sewing buddies back in the day when you lived in Estero. We would "travel all the way" from Fort Myers & spend the day. Our moms inside sewing, and the kids outside, running around, catching minnows with cheese cloth in the little creek, etc. - such fun. She often asks about old friends and, while sad information today, I know she will enjoy...

So sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers with all of you.

Prayers to you, Luther and Beth in your loss. Your mother sounds like she was a wonderful and caring person, who not only loved her family, but also loved other children with all of her work with such organizations as the 4H club. We are sure that she made a great impression on all if those that she touched.

Dearest Atkinson Family,
Our families were intertwined for many years and your mother's love, warmth, and of course her cooking were the glue that bonded us. My fondest childhood memories were our two families boating to camp on "Thanksgiving Island", known by everyone else as Lover's Key.
Your mom and dad will live long in our memories.

Friends! March 10, 2015

My love goes to the whole family. Your mother, Alice, was a dear family friend and a stellar individual. I remember her kindness during our 2-family camping trips to "Thanksgiving Island". I will miss our visits when we come to Fort Myers. Thank you Merelee and Jeanette for bringing your mother to visit with mine. I'm attaching the photo I took at my mom's 95th birthday party in March.
