I had Mrs Clack for Math Analysis my senior year at Pioneer (82/83). She was a great teacher and I count myself lucky to have been her student. I still have a signed copy of the text book we used in her class. She went to a conference where the author (Mary Dolciani) gave a talk. She got her to sign a copy of the book then she raffled it off to the class. She even made a little lesson out of the raffle. If you were getting an A in the class you got 5 raffle tickets, a B 4 , a C 3, etc. I...

I was a student of Ms. Clack's at Eastern Michigan University in 1967-68. I only knew her for those few months, but I have never forgotten her. She was a wonderful teacher with the warmest smile I have ever received. Her belief in her students and her many kindnesses toward them were inspirations for me in my own teaching career of 36 years.
