Thank you to everyone for your kindness. All your cards and food and flowers and sympathy have been so appreciated. It is a comfort to know she touched so many lives in a positive and vibrant way. I still miss her. God bless you all.

I was also one of her students. She was an amazing women and inspired me to always be better. I still tell the kids stories she told us. Condolences to the family. You guys sure were lucky to have her.

I was a student of Ms. Heller's at Newtown Elementary the last two years she taught there. She followed my class from 5th to 6th grade. I started off 5th grade dreading her classes but by the end she was my favorite teacher and still is to this day (I'm 40 now). She encouraged me, pushed me to do my best and she still inspires me while I complete my bachelor degree today. Her travel stories took us to the far off places she visited. I still have a post card she sent me. I loved her dearly and...

I was a new teacher at Newtown School years ago and remember Cleo being friendly and helpful when I really needed it. She not only made a difference in the lives of all the children she taught but also was an important and memorable model for a new teacher.
