Not sure what to say?

Alice Mills, was like another mom to me for many years and a woman to admire. She will be greatly missed but, lovingly remembered.

My Mom, Alice always saved out the Boston Sunday Globe funnies for me. She kept me connected in to Boston and its fine people, libraries and serious issues with clippings from the Globe and the NYTimes.

I dont take to online much, but as I sit in Cornwall, UK, reading these memories from others matters so much to me.

Aunt Alice toured me around her hometown while I was in school, so I enjoyed the Museum of Fine Arts and so many wonderful places and got to visit my east coast relatives. Her perseverance with the medical community saved my life, literally. I am grateful to have known her.

I will always remember Alice's warm smile when she came in to the Honan-Allston Branch for her ESL classes. She did important work and is greatly missed.

Alice was my mother-in-law, but she added much more to my life than my own mother, and she enriched the lives of my children. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to know her.
