LOONEY, Mrs. Alison -age 57, of Flint, MI passed away  Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Friday, August 2, 2019 with an 1:30pm family hour at Kingdom Of Heaven Ministries, 2430 Dutcher St., Flint, MI 48532.  Calling hours are 1:00pm-7:00pm Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel, 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507.  The final resting place Mrs. Looney will be Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.

Mrs. Alison Denise Looney was born February 21, 1962 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of David Timothy Gill Sr. and Julia Mae (Duncan) Gill.

Mrs. Alison Looney graduated from Flint Northwestern High School and attended Mott Community College. She was baptized and was a member of Kingdom of Heaven Ministries.  Alison was employed at Lapeer Plating and Plastics for several years.  She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Alison Looney leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Michael Anthony Looney Sr.; 2 daughters, Lonnise Gill and Monikia (Richard) Relerford; son, Michael Gill all of Flint, MI; stepchildren, Quandria Looney of Charlotte, NC, Michael Looney Jr. and Beonka Callaway both of Flint, MI; 8 grandchildren, James, Nyesha, Nyajah, LeRonda, Scott, Courtney, Arie-Ann and Santanas; 2 brothers, David Timothy Gill Jr. and Homer Norris; sisters, Terry Gill, Sheila Green, Saundra Tedford all of Flint, MI; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Alison Looney was preceded in death by: father, David Timothy Gill Sr; mother, Julia Mae Duncan Gill; grandson, JaJuan Demps Jr., grandfather, George Duncan; grandmother, Catheren Hall; brother, Dennis Duncan; sister, Selena Dorsey; uncles, Jimmie, Dave, Willie and Johnny Dansby; aunts, Velma, Verna, Doris, Clotier Dansby and Francis Duvule; father-in-law, Prentis Looney; mother-in-law, Lois Dansby Looney; sister-in-law, Linda Williams; niece, Selena Robinson; cousins, Carolyn, Donald, Zack and Donnell Dansby, Columbus Evans, Rod, Ricky and Lisa Cooksby, and Stevie Williams.   

The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Lonnie Brown and Kingdom of Heaven Ministries family, Hurley Medical Center Emergency Room Team, the Flint Police Department, co-workers at Lapeer Plating and Plastic, Sheldon T. Banks and staff, and everyone who assisted in any way.

Miss Allison you were the sunshine to my day every time I walked through the plating doors, I will miss your smiling face everyday. God has a very special angel now. Rest in piece bff. I will forever miss you.

Allison Gill in 7th grade use to let me brush her pretty long wavy hair. We use to play around and always got in some type of trouble. Although it's been years. I can still hear that laugh she had. R.I.P my childhood friend. Emerson Intermediate and Newall Street.

Mrs. Alison was sweetest kindest person I knew. I was blessed to have her as my friend. You will be dearly missed by so many. Our hearts ache. Prayers for the family in this hard time. Fly with the angels sweet one.
