Alister Taylor published my first book Sexist Society in 1973. He was a great publisher and very innovative at the time. I kept in contact periodically over the years and admired his contribution to New Zealand publishing. At Victoria University in the late sixties he was a bit of a her on campus as the organiser of Peace Power and Politics. And I loved the Little Red Schoolbook he published in the early seventies.
