Not sure what to say?

There was just something special about Allen. He was so kind and smart. I sure am glad to have run into you yesterday. I didn't know of Allens passing. I will always count him as a Desentant. Through Emily and Martha . I will never forget him. And I will treasure the time he brought his Dad to meet me.

Aerodyne Friends: Al, Shann, Bob & Seattle World Cruiser

"Original" Aerodyne Facilities

Dear Shann and Family, We have many fond memories of our times at the Renton Airport and the Cedar River Hangars. Al was one of our early board members on the Seattle World Cruiser Project, and he and I had a great road trip, going over to check on Liberty engines for the Cruiser. Dear Shann, I am particularly grateful when you brought Al by for a visit to the Cruiser a few summers ago. We will treasure these memories. We are including a photo of that visit and also one I found in my files of...

What to say about Al? He was the one of most professional of aviators. I flew with him many times and he was always up beat and of course that smile of his just radiated the whole room. His kind will always be missed and it was my pleasure to know him.

Who could forget that smile? I was flipping through the paper the other day and I saw it, that smile. "Hey, I know that guy!" Then I read Al's obituary. I flew with Al out of Seattle before he retired. I left and came back. And so did the memories. Thank you Al. (Steve Schwab, Flight Attendant, SEA)

Al was a kind and wonderful man who will be missed.

Al was a great guy, and it was always a pleasure to work and fly with him. Good times and wonderful memories . . . . WAL/DAL . . . . thanks Al.
