Not sure what to say?

Coach Al stepped up to coach our son's basketball team at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic School. His wife, Katy, taught both our kids, and was one of our favorite teachers. He was a great coach, very warm and funny and kind. Our condolences to you and your family, Mrs. Schroeder, on your loss. May God comfort you now and always. Love, the Hurtado family: Juan, Nancy, Zoe and John

Looking back at the 12 years Al and I went to school together, I see a quiet, determined guy with a great sense of humor. He was liked by everyone.
In the last few years I was able to share 5 meals with Al. Always a good time. He will be so missed by everyone. My condolences to Katy and family.

I worked with AL for 10 years at FFIC and he was a wonderful person and a quiet and calming presence even in our most stressful times. A true gentleman. I was privileged to know him. My condolences to his family and may Al Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Al and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

If it were not for Al my son Shane would have never met his daughter, Cassie. She started my son on his rowing career that took him all over the world. Al's family changed mine and I will forever be grateful.

The loss of a true gentleman. I enjoyed working with Al at FFIC in Tampa, and we even shared a retirement party when we left FFIC at the same time. I was very honored to call Al a friend. I will never forget his gentle spirit. Rest in peace, Al.

I'm so sorry to hear of Al's passing. I first met Al and worked with him at the Fireman's Fund Milwaukee claims office. When FFIC closed the office, Al took the transfer to Tampa, I took the transfer to Dallas. We were the only 2 to take the transfers and always shared that bond as we spoke throughout the years. Sincere sympathies and condolences to his family. He was of the highest integrity and a good person to know. Me he rest in peace.

May you rest in peace, Al and may God comfort your family as they mourn for you. Please know that our prayers are with you and yours.
