DOUGLASS - Guyot, Allen, 53, owner of Allen's Hair Care, died Saturday, May 1, 2010. He was a loving father and grandfather. Allen was an active member of the AVTA Trials and the Air Capital Cosmopolitan Club. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph L. Guyot. Survivors: son, Aaron (Shelly) Guyot; daughter Alanna (Ryan) Davis; grandchild, Hadlee Davis, all of Douglass; mother, Lila Guyot; brother, Joel (Beverly) Guyot; nephews, Derrick and Garrett Guyot, all of Derby. I had no idea you could still write on the guest book so long after someone passed. I love that people haven't forgot about my dad and still get on here and write stuff. I still miss him everyday it feels like it was just yesterday in so many ways. Thank to everyone who hasn't forgot!

Been thinking all week of Allen, and his family, as the year since his passing, is here. Still hard to believe.

I can't believe it's been a year since Allen has been gone. I actually called his shop number for awhile just to hear his voice on the answering machine. It made me cry the first few months I went to someone else to do my hair. I hope his kids are doing OK. You are all in my prayers. Terri
