Mindy, I am very sorry to hear about your father's passing. He was a regular fixture down at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Central High School when was I was there from 1989-1993. He was my study hall teacher in my junior year and made me not worry about a discipline issue.

Irma and family ~ please accept my condolences. I am so sorry for your loss. May your memories comfort you and bring you peace ~

Mr. Jaquays was a positive, inspirational teacher at VVS, who made math interesting and enjoyable. He taught a rule that I have always remembered and shared: When discussing dollar amounts, do not use and' within the dollar number. Example: one-hundred-fifty dollars and 20 centsnot one-hundred and fifty dollars and 20 cents.

My sincere condolences for your loss.

To the family of Al Jaquays: "I was a teacher at VVS for 20 years and found him to be the ultimate professional. He was admired by students, faculty and parents alike. His passing will be a great loss to the community, and you all have my utmost sympathy."

Irma and family, my hearts hurts for you but knowing Al is in a better place. He has been my lifetime friend for 42 years and I will miss him greatly. Especially our long distance conversations and our short visits when I'm in town. I'm thinking of you and the family during this trying time.

Irma, I am so sorry for your lost. Thinking of you. Will miss him at our meetings and trips.
