Allen was one of my best friends when I first started college. I met these girls at early band camp and I love them. They were twins. We were instant friends and have been friends forever since then. He married my best friend and little sister in SAI, The music fraternity for women. Fraternity meaning professional !!! Played in a band and I loved listening to him play and his whole band. He is part of my heart still.

Allen was one of the very first people I met when I first went to Audubon Park in the Spring of 1966 to fly model airplanes. I was 14, he was 20. He was doing everything I wanted to do in the way of model airplanes! He could build, run engines, and fly! I learned so much from him. We stayed close friends for all of these years, attending many model airplane shows, competitions, and swap meets in the last 25 years together, such as the AMA Nationals, the Perry, GA model airplane swap meet, ...
