I remember fondly how much she helped us when I was on bedrest when carrying Tyler. Having to stay put and ask for help was both humbling and...

The service for your mom was beautiful and so right for your mom. I have so many wonderful memories of playing together at your house on Nobel and Emmett - going to the Wilson's house to sort postcards and dreaming of all the wonderful places we saw pictures of; going into the garden on Nobel and helping ourselves to cherry tomatoes while someone stood guard because of course we weren't allowed to do that! I was fascinated with the old mangle...

To David, Mary, & Tyler: I am an internet friend of Mary's. Although I didn't know Althea personally, her obit suggests she was giving, kind, articulate, well-traveled, and motivated. She left this world better place. Isn't that what life's really about?
