Al was both my mentor and my friend. He was kind, intelligent, a great leader and he cared for all living creatures. I miss him a lot and I am honored to have known him.

Wonderful person, great boss (or as Al would say, "I'm just the cheerleader"), and friend.

I had the pleasure of seeing Al every morning at Montys Penquin. It was a pleasure to serve him and Bill breakfast. Al was a very nice man He always had a smile on his face. That smile and face will be greatly missed at Montys. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family. Sherry Lewis and The Montys Girls

Big Al was a true industry icon. He had a unique style: always a smile, a handshake, and a kind word, firm but fair, a fierce competitor. His style is something many have tried to emulate. He was the kind of personality everyone wanted to be around. I was privileged to watch him practice his craft - a true professional that could always mix in just the right amount of fun. We could use a few more like him. He is missed.
