Not sure what to say?

I knew Alun through his children and enjoyed many conversations with him. He had many encouraging words for me as I worked toward a PhD. He really supported academics and research. He will be missed.

Alun was a wonderful and cheerful friend and colleague during my Harvard years in the 1970's. My condolences to Anne and family.

I have known Alun for more than a decade and sorry to hear of his loss. Alun Jones is a brilliant radiochemist and well known for his contribution in developing sestamibi and technetium chemistry. He will be badly missed by radiopharmacy community.

So sad. I had the pleasure of interacting with Alan Davison and Alun Jones in the mid-80's, at MIT and "across the river", and will forever remember those years with fondness. Alun was so warm and welcoming, scientifically astute and eager to help. He was a gentleman, and will truly be missed. My condolences to his family - the world is now less bright for this loss.

I had the pleasure of working with "AJ" during my graduate school years at MIT (with "AD"). I always found Alun to be an extremely pleasant and generous person, and I was very sorry to learn of his passing. My condolences to the family and to the HMS 'family'.

I am a long-time friend of Andrew's. Since I can remember, I always looked up to Alun as both a warm, caring father and a brilliant scientist. --Peter Dixon

I was so sorry to hear of his loss. Dr. Jones was a remarkable scientist. He will be sorely missed by the Radiopharmacy Community

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Alun was a great friend and colleague over more than 20 years. I will miss him a lot.
