Not sure what to say?

Fred and margie, I was so proud of Amy and find myself thinking of her often. I love you guys and I know this Christmas season will be difficult for you. Please know that Charlotte and I have said a Prayer for you and the Family.

Christ is our Comfort in two ways. He holds us tight in our sorrows and He is holding Amy for our future reunion where there is no more parting. - It's only for a little while!

I just found out about Amy a few days ago. Amy was one of my roommates in the Beal Dorm at UMHB. I will never forget the amazing times we all had that semester-putting on "Broadway" shows for Christy's birthday, "celebrity get togethers" for Linnie's birthday, or our own sing-alongs for the dorm to hear. Never have I seen the light of Christ shine so brightly as I saw through Amy. She was always the first to pray for someone or lend a listening ear. Although we are going to miss her terribly,...

Amy was very dear to Sue and I. We felt she was already a part of the family even though the wedding was 2 months away. We couldn't have loved her more if she was our own flesh and blood daughter.

It was easy to find inspiration to compose a song in honor of her. One of her favorite verses was Psalms 139:16. Based on that I composed this song in her memory:

1. An angel dwelt among us, as dear as she could be.
She blossomed right before our eyes, and all...

To Amy's Family and Friends:

Andy and I were Amy's "Dad and Mom" in Germany during the summer of 2001. What an awesome summer that was as we saw God work, not only in the hearts of the German youth, but in the hearts of several young Texans... including Amy. What an awesome testimony of love and faith she shared with those young campers. I know she made a difference in several lives that summer as she taught them English, counseled them in His Word, bandaged their wounds, and...

In a life dedicated to her Lord, and evidenced by the love you all have in remembering Amy, the fragrance lingers. I only came to know Amy through prayer. This is now my prayer ~ Lord, if there were words that could heal these dear hearts, I would speak them. If there were arms big enough to hold the loss, I would extend them. But only You, Lord, can offer these precious mercies. In Your wisdom, please answer the impossible questions. In Your grace, please give Your comfort. By Your Presence,...

Phillipians 1:21
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

And that is what Amy did. Amy has gained the most precious gift of all and I can not wait till I see her again. I was very blessed to have Amy as my nurse when I delivered my daughter. Very strange having someone you grew up with as your nurse but I would not have changed a thing. She will be missed very much but I know I will see her again.

Dear Margie and Fred,
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers quite often. Dallas
