Not sure what to say?

Your family is in my prayers. It was a blessing to know you

Amy touched people she never met. She provided inspirational hope to a friend of mine, who was also undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She didn't know my friend, but, upon seeing her at a local store, approached my friend, who was wearing a bandana to cover her bald head, and offered words of support. My friend Martha immediately shared this story on Facebook for all to see. Thanks Amy, I never met you, but I wish I had.

I met Amy only once, but she made a huge impression. I was diagnosed with breast cancer this past summer and after surgery, started chemo this past fall. I looked very much like a cancer warrior in the grocery store this past October with my pink sweatshirt and bandana covering my bald head. We exchanged a smile as we passed each other but she felt compelled to approach me again and give me her name and number and tell me I could call her anytime. That she had been through what I was going...

So sorry for your loss my thought and prayer are with u and family, god bless. Dawn Taylot Day New Bern NC

To the Woody family I remember the days we spent in your home and the loving home your Grandparents provided as your guardians along with your Dad and Aunt "Dawnie".

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Very sad to hear of Amy's passing. Have really good memories from when we were very little kids. May the Lord wrap his arms around everyone during this hard time. Amanda, Uncle Woody and family I am very sorry for your loss. Heaven truly has a new Guardian Angel to watch over everyone

I was so sad to hear that Amy had passed. I haven't spoken with Amy since we were children, but it sounds like she became a wonderful woman. I will always remember how bubbly and sweet she was and how her nose would crinkle when she smiled big. My heart breaks for her family and I pray they will find peace and comfort.
