Bob, Jan and Gail. I´m grateful for the influence your Dad had on me when I was a teen at Pasadena Avenue Gospel Hall and grateful that I reconnected with him, though 2,000 miles apart, after your mother passed in 2011. I remember his cheer as he welcomed the congregation on Sundays and his tenor voice as led us in singing hymns. The way he kept musical time, 3/4 or 4/4 with his right arm, is the style I copied the few times I was allowed to lead. And I appreciated his duets with your mother....
