Not sure what to say?

Andrew left a lasting memory with me, we met late 90s thru Dominik and had great adventures in the Bay Of Islands and Northland.
I am very saddened to find the sad news of his passing. Our life tims run too quick.
He was a gentle soul, a deep thinker and fantastic craftsman. Loved the water, his element.
My warmest wishes to Andrew's kids and Meg and extended family.

Good Bye to My Sidecar Buddy
old Friend.

I met Andy when I did an interview for the local paper about Abe Lincoln - the boat he built to take people who were struggling out on Henley Lake for the day. Such a wonderful idea and a gift to the Masterton community. I only spoke with him in depth the once, but it was obvious he was a kind and gentle soul, with a genuine passion for the water, his whanau and helping others. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. Sleep tight, Andy.

Dear Andrew,
Strumming your guitar passionately, singing 'Stairway to Heaven' & stepping in as Sound Man for our St John Talent Fest.
Memories of you are forever in our hearts.
Fly free dear Andy
Condolences to the Pettit family, his children & Meg.

A generous, thoughtful and peaceful soul now at peace. I still remember you singing and playing Bennie and the jets on the piano in the front room in the Russell house good!
A talented craftsman and sailor you have left your mark on this planet with your brilliant creations, your fostering of the young and your efforts to leave a better world for us all. Gone way to soon Andrew but never forgotten.
Love from Paul, Sarah, Emma and Riley.

Andrew was a loyal and loving friend to three generations of our family - bonding with Geoff over boats many years ago! His generosity of spirit will always be treasured. Our thoughts are with you all.
