We have only met Andy and his family a few times through a good friend, he was very kind and giving and after reading all the wonderful things he did for his community there is no doubt he’s resting easy. Our prayers are with his family and community. With sincere condolences Jeff & Denise Nickel

The last breakfast before the pandemic closed everything, Andy got word his surgery was being postponed. I said that was terrible, he turned to me and said he was kind of glad because the island needed him to help lead them through this crises. I know he was suffering with the dialysis, but he put the welfare of the island and its people before himself. He was a great guy me and my husband ( the trash guy) will miss our Sunday breakfast with him. Rest in piece Andy.

And now we lay you down to sleep ,Rest in peace. Artie & Carole LaLuna

Andy I'm going to miss you. I'll never forget the time that we had at the Christmas party at library three and it was everybody from the Shell station the Goodyear stores.. we all had a good time and I'll never forget when you told me that the bill was over $10,000 and they told us not to come back. I still laugh about that to this day I'm going to miss you and the laughs I had with you. Your buddie JBird. Aka Jay Johnson
