Andrew Nathaniel White Iii

Listening to John Coltrane’s “Love Supreme” , brought back some of my fondest memories of Andrew. Among those I treasure most are his annual April “gigs” at Blues Alley, his prolific correspondence ( always with a quirky little personal note) and , above all, the times spent at “ Villa Musica” and
“ Villa Pablina” with him and Jocelyne. They were both incredible hosts and always “shared” generously of their brillant artistic gifts. I feel truly blessed that our paths crossed.

Mr. White was my next door neighbor and friend for more than 40 years and I will miss him dearly. During the most recent months during his recovery he shared many stories and we laughed often.
Rest in heavenly peace Andrew, Sonny as your friends and family called you. But, you will always be the famous "Mr. White" my neighbor and friend. My sincere condolences and uplifting prayers to the family and friends.
