Angelo J. Panzarella, 79, of Providence, Rhode Island, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, who worked for the Army Map Service for 40 years until his retirement in 1982, died at Courtland Place in Greenville, Rhode Island, on Friday, September 7, 2001. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, September 9, 2001, 5-8 p.m., at Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, September 10, 8:45 a.m., at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, 10 a.m., at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery. Military Honors will be conferred. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to Make-A-Wish, 744 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910. Arrangements entrusted to Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, Providence, Rhode Island.
