Not sure what to say?

Harry, I'm sure you remember the Boyd family when we lived on Knollwood in the 70's. Our son Jon called to tell us of Ann's passing the other day and it came as quite a surprise as we didn't know of her illness. We remember great times at the Methodist church and working together on church functions. Ann will be missed by all that knew her and couldn't help but love her. We send our love and prayers to you and your family.

Living across the street from Ann has been a wonderful experience for out entire family. I'll never forget when Ann would put out plastic easter eggs on the grass and have the kids come and find them. She also made cookies with the children. Ann will be missed tremendously! Thanks Ann, for all the great memories! Love, Doug, Michelle and Dallas Spellman.

Harry, Terri Agulia and I wondered if you used to work at Burroughs. We are so sorry for your loss and send prayers to you and your family.

I met Angie at the local yarn store and she was always knitting stuff for her granddaughter or someone she loved. I think my mom knew her through some local volunteer associations years ago but I never told her. My mom had cancer, too, and didn't make it, and I just didn't want to bring it up. I watched Angie survive once and I was so happy. She was so positive and lively, someone who you'd always want to talk with. What a wonderful woman.

I first met Mrs. Lamb at Dr. Brown's office. She was one of the most caring people on his staff. Then I found out she was the mother of Mark, one of my sister's friends. It was always a joy to see her. She always asked about my boys as they were growing up and truly cared about our family. A wonderful woman who I know will be missed by many. My condolences to the Lamb family.

Anne was the sort of beautiful person that most can only hope to be. She would throw a party in a heartbeat, so long as she could serve tea and entertain friends and family. She would knit a blanket for a baby, so long as she could hold the baby at least once. She would organize a wedding, give medical advice, write a meaningful card, or just sit and listen, so long as it made someone else happy.

She was my sister's mother-in-law, my parents' friend, a woman I grew up with from...

Ann was the first neighbor I met when we moved into Dutch Haven in 1973. She recruited me to work Cub Scout Day Camp with her that summer. What a great organizer and motivator she was. I learned so many things from her over these many years. She was tireless in lending a helping hand and always did it willingly and with a smile. I feel her presence even though she's not physically with me and will always carry her memory in my heart.

It was such sad news to hear about Ann but what happy memories she has left all of us. As soon as we hear her name, thoughts of the "good ole Days" come into mind. We feel blessed to have had her in our lives through our familys scouting lives. Our prayers and thoughts are with the entire family at this time. Love, Phil and Barbara Mareno and family

I met Anne when my boys were in Cub Scouts and I played Bunko with her for the past 20 yuears. She was a great friend and always had a big smile for everyone she met. She will be missed and my prayers go to Harry and the boys. She is in God's hands now.
