Anita Hersh Obituary
Anita Delores Hersh died yesterday at the age of 92 at Hudson Valley Hospital. She is survived by two sons, Philip (Patti) and Robert, six grandchildren: Jenny, Vicki, Sarah (Steve), Rebecca, Jeff (Suzanne Puglisi) and Zack and eleven nieces and nephews: Scot, John (Doriann), Baron (Emily), Todd (Justine) Rose, Nicole (Michael), Richard, and Anne. She also had two great-grandchildren: Ella and Oliver. Anita was predeceased by her husband of sixty years, Peekskill attorney Benjamin B. Hersh.
Anita, as well as her husband, were dog lovers and always had a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Teenie. Anita was a lovely, generous woman who was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Arrangements are being handled by Hellman's Memorial Chapels in Spring Valley, New York. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hebrew Congregation Cemetery on Oregon Road in Cortlandt Manor, New York. A luncheon will immediately follow at Table 9 on Rt. 9 at Annsville Circle, Cortlandt Manor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Hebrew Congregation, 1821 E Main St., Peekskill, New York.
