Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Minton was my teacher at Central and definitely the one who motivated me the most. She believed in me and encouraged me to do more than I thought I could do. She always pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. I'll always remember her with fond memories. I pray for the family as they go through this time of mourning, but I know they have far fonder memories of her themselves. God's blessing on the entire family.

Cathy and Tim, our thoughts are with you all. I remember your Mom when I would stop by at your house on west chicago. My parents also met in Deadwood and were married in the Catholic Church there.Take care.

Mrs. Minton was truly the most instrumental of all my teachers at Central High School and I am forever in her debt for all that she did for me during the 2 years as my teacher. She is the reason I am as successful as I am in business today! She will be fondly remembered in my heart forever. My sympathy goes out to all of her family, friends and former students.

I have thought of Mrs. Minton fondly through the years. As a past student, she instilled a work ethic and pride in a job well done that seems to be lacking in many people. She was a very special lady and was one of my favorite teachers. I hope your memories bring many smiles and help you through this time. I'm glad I had the privilege of knowing her.

Kathy and Laura

We remember Ann and husband both, from our days at Deadwood High School. They were a great couple and great teachers. Always thought of Ann as a very pretty woman. We recall when Coach married Miss Duffy. Deadwood was sorry to see both of them leave for Rapid City. Please accept our sympathy at your loss.

The loss of our "Miss Duffy" (and later "Mrs. Minton") brings back many fond memories of my years at Deadwood High.
