Ann Marie Shaneberger
Ann Marie Shaneberger, 87, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, in St. Luke's Hospital, Warren.
Born Sept. 23, 1931, in Phillipsburg, Ann Marie was the daughter of the late Henry and Loretta (Coyne) Dicker.
Her husband, Richard, passed away Dec. 30, 2012. She was an executive secretary with Orbel Corp. in Phillipsburg for 22 years before her retirement. After retirement, Ann Marie was employed by Phillipsburg Pharmacy. She was a graduate of Phillipsburg Parochial High School and attended the former Churchman's Business School.
She was an avid reader and loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She was also previously the secretary for the Brakeley Park Tenants Association.
Ann Marie was a member of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg, where she was also a member of the Over 50s Club.
She is survived by a son, Stephen and wife Keri of Saylors-burg, PA; a daughter, Lisa Rapsis and husband Jim of Greenwich Township; and her four beloved grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Madison, Lauren, and Jenna.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Feb. 11, at 10 a.m. in Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, 430 S. Main Street, Phillipsburg. Visitation will be held Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Doyle-Devlin Funeral Home, Inc., 695 Corliss Ave, Phillipsburg. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Phillipsburg. Ann Marie was my sister Betty's best friend in High School and after. I have fond memories of the good times we three had in the 50's. Our sympathy goes out to her family at this time.
