I never saw that much of Ann, but when our paths crossed, there was always that smile. After meeting her the first time, she made a major impression on me. I was so sadden to hear of her passing. She was truly a wonderful person. May she rest in peace.

Miss you very much as a wonderful, caring neighbor.

Ann I went to your Facebook page to wish you a happy birthday and just found out the news. Thanks for being such a tremendous friend. Such a caring soul and pure spirit. You are always with me.

I was fortunate enough to have Ms. Watlington as my teacher for first and fifth grade in the 80's. She would not allow me to be average she challenged me to do my best. She is one of the most beautiful people I have had the pleasure of meeting. She will always be remembered as my favorite teacher. May God bless the Watlington family!

The Watlington family hold special, wonderful memories from my early years at Calvary Baptist in Charleston. Both my husband and I loved the whole family. Bonnie Montague Costilow (Rick ).

I may not be a Watlington but to me Ann was family, the sister I never had. She is and always will be my Wonderful Sweet Spirit Soul Sister. A Beautiful giving caring Being of Light and Love. Strong, Loyal, Courageous, Spirited the true meaning of the word Friend, Mother, Sister, Woman. She made someone far from home feel right at home and welcome. Truly a Blessing to have had her as part of my life and so grateful for the time we spent together on this journey. I may no longer be able to...

Mrs. Watlington was my favorite teacher at Jacob. L. Adams. She was such an angel and still is...
