Not sure what to say?

Jack and Anne were family to me growing up. Dad (Bud) would take me over to the farm to watch the boys milk the cows and then he and Jack would start tinkering with something. Anne would always welcome me into the house for a visit. She would make me a grilled cheese sandwich and chocolate milk. She would tell me where I could find the newborn litter of kittens or she would let me swim in the pool to pass the time until the boys were done baling hay or working. So many countless memories of...

Anne was one of a kind. When she left Middletown I spent an afternoon with her. She gave me a bunch of napkins and paper plates she had. Every time i use a package I take one out to save to remind me of her. I will miss her dearly. I will miss sitting with her, enjoying iced tea. Rest in sweet peace my dear friend.

My prayers are with y'all as the passing of another great person in 2018. I have so many memories of Anne, the farm, and enjoying the friendship between our families! She lived a wonderful life so full of fun, smiles, and laughter mixed with tragedies hard on a mother. I am sure Anne and my mom supported each other as they raised their large families while giving in the community they loved. Know how special your mom/grandmother was to those of us who had the fortune to be known by her....

I am heartbroken and grateful to have known Anne almost all my entire life. I loved her dearly. She had a great life! I'll see you all for her memorial on January 5. xo Cathy Ward

Many good memories of Anne and the Hicks family. They were such good friends to my parents, Bill and Helen Hickman. Our deepest condolences.

Anne was the kindest person. I appreciated her sharing her gardening skills, Christmas Open house and great friend to ride around in her little MG.
Tennis was her game !
I love her family and grandchildren!
Such a void without her.

My condolences to the Hicks family and friends of Mrs. Hicks. She was a sweetheart of a person.
