I knew Annie well because she always encouraged me to use her (& my) Welborn ancestry to join other heriditary organizatioons. I saw her annually in DC at the Colonial Dames XVIIC Meetings and will miss her very much. My condolences to the family.

Ann Allen was a teacher at Ladson Elementary and Alice Birney Middle School She was an excellent professional. Ann touched the lives of many children in a very positive way. She was a true friend and will be missed.

Mrs. Annie was Registrar and a key member of The Society of First Families of SC, 1670-1700. She was a lovely and gracious lady who will be greatly missed. We in S.FFSC wish the family well and pray that the pain of this moment will soon be replace by warm and loving memories and the sure knowledge of eternal reunion in Heaven with otherloved ones. RB
