Not sure what to say?

I have been thinking a lot about Ansel these days as we undertake a big set of projects in NYC and Staten Island with historic houses. Ansel would have loved this. We are working in accessibility projects. Hats off to a wonderful person.

My condolences to all who mourn his loss. I still pass the house where he lived as a boy and remember the friendly and energetic greeting he gave me as he went zipping by in his chair.

Sure enjoyed have Ansel as a student at the Cooperstown Graduate Program in Museum Studies. Loved his courage and humor. He was an honored guest at one of our family holiday meals. It was a terrific time. Miss him.

Dear Penny and Joe, We are all deeply saddened to hear of Ansel´s death. He was a person of such courage. When he was a student he was willing to try anything and everything. He had a great intellectual curiosity and he taught us a great deal about living with disability. All of us at CGP share in your grief and send our deepest sympathy. Gretchen Sorin

Dear Penny and Joe, I worked at the Cooperstown Graduate Program when Ansel was a student at CGP. He was a source of inspiration. I retired last January and former students sent video messages wishing me well. I will always treasure Ansel's message. I will be thinking of you and your family . Sincerely, Catherine Raddatz

Dear Joe and Penny, We join you and your family both in your sadness at Ansel passing and your wonderful remembrances of your son. You both were incredible anchors for him throughout his life and he grew and flew independently because of the incredible nurturing and opportunities you provided him. I am sure this is among the hardest experience to go through- losing your child. He will always be in your heart and on your shoulders looking out for you. Sending our love to you and the Wolfson-...
