Anthony “Tony” Eugene Everhart, 55, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2023, at Lee's Summit Medical Center.
Tony was born September 10, 1967 in Clarinda, IA to Fred Everhart and Kathleen Clark. He owned and operated Everhart Tree Service since 1996. Tony was known as Big “T” to many of his friends. Tony enjoyed traveling, watching football, riding his side by side and going to' the Casinos. His family was everything to him. To his grandchildren he was "pawpaw" and "pops" to his children.
Tony married Josephine “Jo Marie” Tarantola in 1990 she survives at their home in Greenwood, MO.
He was preceded in death by his mother Kathleen. He is survived by his children; Anthony and Jayla DeFeo, Blue Springs, MO Vinnie and Haley DeFeo of Kansas City, MO. Anthony and Rachel Everhart, Kansas City, MO. Emily Everhart, Greenwood, MO. Grandchildren, LillyAnna Everhart, Lydia Everhart, Bennett Everhart, Gracelyn Everhart, Beckham Everhart, Anthony "Ace" DeFeo and Jack DeFeo. His father and stepmother Fred and Cathy Everhart, Grandview, MO, Brothers Brian and his wife Serissa Everhart, Grain Valley, MO. Rick and wife Leona Everhart, Stover, MO. Sister Stephanie and her husband Troy, Staponski, Lone Jack, MO. Victoria and Jeremy Orbeck, Claremore, OK. He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be deeply missed by all who know him.
Visitation will be 2-6PM, with services to follow at 6PM, Friday, September 1 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.

Tony was a big guy with a big heart he helped me and my little family get started when I didn't have a pot to pee in Tony took me in and put some change in my pocket and treated me like family I looked up to Tony in alota ways he will be missed this was totally unexpected news my condolences to his family and loved ones it was an honor having had the opportunity to get to know him he was a good friend and awesome boss with an amazing family
