Not sure what to say?

I met Tony about 10 years ago with the help of my Siamese cat, Cocoa. Tony loved to work in his sister Martha's yard across the street from my home. Cocoa pestered Tony until he could no longer ignore the cat. They became fast friends with the cat spending more time across the street than at home. Tony bought multiple kinds of cat food for his pushy friend, making what Tony called "sundaes" for Cocoa, even elevating the dish on bricks so the cat could reach it easier. Tony and I began talking...

My deepest sympathies to Tony's family. I met Tony in 1969, as he interviewed me for a drafting position with Dravo Corp. I worked for him for (11) years and respected him, both for his engineering ability and for his passionate attitude towards the people working for him.
Peace be with you.

We got to know Tony during his daily visits to his sister Martha's house. We lived new door to Martha and Tony was always out in the yard working. Throughout the years we all (kids and adults) enjoyed our conversations with him. Tony always had a bit of interesting information and history about everything. His sense of humor and kindness endeared him to everyone in our family. We regret that we only found out about Tony's passing this evening when it was announced in church. We will miss Tony...

Extending deepest sympathy in the death of Anthony E. Gill. I was a friend of his sister, Martha. I know how deeply he missed her when she died. I received a Christmas card this year from him, and he wrote he had a back problem and had undergone surgery.

Tony was my first boss at Dravo and gave me my start in the Pittsburgh engineering community.
