My mom went to work at NHRMC when I was 8. I would go to work with my Grandmother at 10:30pm and go home with my mom at 11:15. I knew all of the security guards and Plant Operators. She worked on the 5th floor, Communications and the OR. It was just the 2 of us and the Hospital employees were our second family. I am eternally grateful for the love and support each of you in the OR showed me, my mom and my family as I battled cancer.
For the love and encouragement yall have shown me...

Twenty-one years ago, April helped train me as an OR Unit Clerk, which included valuable lessons on how to prioritize, organize and multitask. Time spent with her was always enjoyable, as she was such a kind and caring person. I would not be exaggerating to say - April was part of “The Heart of the OR,” and I mean that in more ways than one. My sympathy to her family.

She wanted to be at the Valley Chapel location because I built/wired that building back in the mid 1980's.
