Not sure what to say?

Dr Howard was such a great man and doctor. I was lucky to have him as my doctor for much of my childhood. He leaves quite a legacy. I'm so sorry for your loss.

The family of Stanley Wood all send our love and prayers to the Howard family. I recently took my 81 year old father to visit with his Aunt, Nancy Wood Howard and Uncle, Dr. A. R. Howard. They were so happy to see each other. Uncle Richard told my dad Move to Lubbock! My dad and Uncle Richard were kindred spirits I think.
Reading the other memories left here on this site, I smiled when one mentioned his wicked sense of humor. My daughter, Morgan, is currently a student at Texas...

Our last selfie!

Dr. Howard and his family became dear, family friends shortly after their arrival in Kermit. We remained friends for over 45 years! Dr. Howard was not only a great physician, but a very talented writer and poet! He had a wicked sense of humor and a very tender heart! He loved watching the birds and rescuing the cats that stalked them! Each time we were together, we would laugh until we cried! My sweet friend, you were loved by many and will be missed by all, particularly me!❤

Dr. Howard was a wonderful doctor and an awesome person. Our family went to him for many years. Our condolences and prayers to his family.
