Not sure what to say?

Archie was such a joy at Rice family picnics! He was the perfect mate for my dear cousin Liz and their kids were so much fun! We smile whenever we think
of Archie!!!

Archie was a wonderful man! My Aunt Helen loved him very much! I was so honored standing up in their wedding. May God comfort all of Archie's family and friends at this time of sorrow and bring you peace. Until we meet again in Heaven.

Helen and family - my heart goes out to you. I'm so grateful I had the chance to know Archie. I met Archie through the Lake Country Scenic Byway group. I loved Archie's stories, I could never get enough of his fascinating knowledge of the history of the area. Thinking of all of Archies family at this tough time, when the patriarch is now leading the family from afar. I hope you all find comfort in your many wonderful memories of an outstanding person.

Our Retired Military Group will miss Archie. We appreciate all the time that he gave the group.

Dear Helen, children and extended family of Archie:

I'm one of the many Rice cousins; my mother, Anna, was the sister of Margaret Rice Buran. I remember Archie as a wonderful, humble person who was so engaging and upbeat. I saw him for the last time at the Rice family picnic in 2014 and was glad I had a chance to chat with him and Helen.

Blessings to you all,
Sara Turngren Lohaus & Peter Lohaus

RIP our friend. You served your country well. Mustang Sally forever!

I met Archie through our Lake Country Scenic Byway meetings and I will always cherish the stories and history he shared with us. Our group has lost one of the byway's founding members, Archie will be missed at our meetings. Archie always made me feel welcomed to the group when I was new to everything, he was a treasure and we will not forget him!

Sending sympathy and prayers to Helen and the family,
Cindy Wannarka

Sorry for your lost. He was a great person. May he rest in peace
