Not sure what to say?

To Caren and family,

I was very saddened to hear of Art's passing. He was my V.P. at BI for almost a decade and was instrumental in the advancement of my career -- something that I will always be grateful for and remember him for. He was a kind, caring man, and definitely a “straight shooter” -- one of the good guys! May our many memories of him help ease your sorrow. Peace to you all.

Art hired me at BI and allowed me the pleasure of working for him (in different jobs) for almost 20 years. I'll always remember his sly smile, and chuckle, and his generous nature. To Caren and family, I'm so sorry for your, and our, great loss. God's blessings of comfort and peace to you.

Art & Caren in Alaska summer 2013

Art was my boss at BI many years ago when I was the Computer Operations Team Lead and later Support Center Director. He could be a very tough guy when necessary, but was also a very caring boss, that could be very funny. I have lots of good memories of working for Art and have never forgotten him. I'll never forget how he used to call me "Little Missy" when I would get all excited about work stuff. He was one level headed guy! Sending warm thoughts to all of his family,...

You will surely miss Art so much. He was a very nice man. Our family sends yours our condolences and prayers as you journey through this difficult time.

Art was my first boss out of college. He was so kind and made the transition to working life a pleasure. Even after I moved to a different position in the company and even after Art retired, he and Caren would have an annual gathering for the MISDAGs (or MIS Department Assistant Graduates). We would all meet and update each other on our lives and reminisce about our times working for Art. He was a very good person. God has called a true angel to watch over us all.

I remember clearly how kind, calm, cool and collected he was in his role as VP at BI WORLDWIDE. It was a great pleasure to work with him. It saddens me greatly to learn of his passing. Though I will be unable to attend the visitation, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and close friends.

We will miss our neighbor on Center Street. We are thinking of you Caren. Sending love and prayers your way.
