Connor-Healy Funeral Home - Manchester Obituary

Arlene T. Innie, 83, of Manchester, NH, formerly of Merrimack, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on January 19, 1942, in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Loretta (Savoy) Fournier. She was raised in Merrimack, where she began to build a life rooted in faith, family, and service to others.

In her earlier years, Arlene was employed at John Zyla, Inc. in Merrimack, where she formed lasting friendships and developed a strong work ethic. She later became a proud small business owner, operating the Save-A-Lot Discount Store in both Hillsborough and Manchester. Her entrepreneurial spirit was matched by her generosity and commitment to her community.

A woman of deep Catholic faith, Arlene drew daily strength and comfort from her prayer book. Her unwavering devotion guided her through life and was a source of inspiration to those who knew her.

Arlene found joy in life’s simple pleasures, tending to her garden, enjoying the outdoors, and getting lost in a good book. But above all, she cherished time spent with her family. Her daughters were the light of her life, affectionately known as “the 5 K’s”, and she never missed an opportunity to share stories and express her pride in each of them. As a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Arlene’s presence will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She will be remembered for her kind and selfless heart, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering willingness to help others. Calm, friendly, and full of quiet grace, Arlene touched the lives of many. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of thirty-eight years, Kenneth B. Innie. He died November 1, 1998. She was also predeceased by her longtime companion, Richard Innie in 2018.

Family members include her five daughters, Kathleen Stuart and her husband, Michael of Northport, ME, Kimberly DeCoteau and her husband, David, of Merrimack, Karen Innie of Manchester, Kristine St. Peter and her husband, Mark of Candia, and Kellie Allen and her husband, Tommy, of Merrimack; ten grandchildren, Amy, Shawn, Nicole, Bradley, Samantha, Adam, Shannon, Joshua, Kendra, and Justin; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Cummings and Sandra Boucher both of Brooksville, FL; three nephews and a niece.

Services: Calling hours are Monday, July 14, 2025, from 4 to 7 PM at Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054.

Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack, NH.
