Armo MAZOR Obituary
News Death Notice
MAZOR, Armo Elizabeth Seferian entered eternal life Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Born April 29, 1925, in Toledo, Ohio to Herand and Mathilde (Both Deceased). She was married 56 years to Lt. Col. Walter Stone Mazor (deceased) and is survived by daughters Linda Nichols (husband Barry), Diana Mazor, and son Dana Mazor, granddaughter Lucy Gillis, and grandson Jody Nichols. She attended Enon United Methodist Church in Enon Ohio. She was employed by Clark county public library, Indian Mound branch for 36 years, and was a member of the Enon betterment committee that built the original Indian Mound Library. She was the choir director of youth and adult choirs at Enon United Methodist Church, minister of music. Appeared as Miss Daisy on "Stacksitters" and "Bozo's Big Top". Armo was president of the Protestant Woman of the chapel in Scotland, and was selected as citizen of the year of Enon, Ohio in 1995. Taped books for the blind for Wright State University and made lap robes for nursing homes in Scotland and Ohio. Armo made and gave away hundreds of baby bibs. Armo enjoyed crafts, gardening, bridge, and reading. A service was held on Monday, March 3, 2014 in the Warren K. Burcham Memorial Chapel at Burcham Jennings Funeral Home in Fairborn, Ohio. Donations may be made in her honor to the Enon United Methodist Church, Inter Faith Hospitality Network Springfield, or The Enon Mound Library.

I just read of the death of Armo. As a Clark County LIbrary Trustee, I know that she worked for and supported the Enon LIbrary. Her contribution to the Library were many and the community benefited from her support..

To Armo, the one who hired me and the one who tried really hard to get me to go to library school early on--at the time, I was so sure I wouldn't be a librarian I resisted her advice. Well, I'm still in the library and grateful for her encouragement. She knew who I was before I did. Rest well, dear Armo.
