Not sure what to say?

I have tried to come up with something to say that can honor Grandad and the kind of man he was but I feel I fall short every time. He was a man of many incredible talents with a deep kindness and charming humor that resonated throughout his interactions with others. I feel blessed that I was a part of his life and was able to receive his love.
We lost a great man but I think we have all gained by knowing him and being able to carry his memory with us always.

To Aunt Pat, Mark, Morgan, Amy, and Brendan, and grandkids,

Even though I'm rather late in writing, you've all been very much in my thoughts and prayers ever since Uncle Arthur's passing. Uncle Arthur, especially, had been in my prayers during his illness. I hope that you get to read this. Somehow, there's a snippet of memory of him when he once had visited my mum and dad, and little me, at the Saunders St. house in Gardner. That special memory has remarkably stayed with me over...

What a joy it will be to no more suffer from sickness or experience death. May God's promise bring some comfort to Arthur's family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Arthur over Christmas 2012 when he visited with his daughter Morgan Bastille and his grandchildren Jack and Hudson. He had a sparkle in his eyes and a mischievous sense of humor in spite of his declining health. It was a pleasure to have spent the day with him. He clearly loved his family and they loved him. He will live on through those who truly loved him.

Aunt Pat, Mark, Morgan, Amy and Brendan,
With loving memories and God's Grace may you find comfort, peace and hope in this difficult time. Uncle Arthur was truly a great man with such honorable, dignified, and charismatic qualities. He touched so many lives and made a positive impact on every person he encountered. I will always remember his smile and sparkle in his eyes. He was a great listener, with a keen intuitive sense, a very kind and thoughtful man. His legacy lives on...

To Pat and family. May God comfort you and bring you peace.. I had the blessing of only a short while to learn what a special person he was. With his quick wit and charm it was an honor to be in his company. Rest easy are now at peace.

Pat & Family,
So sorry for your loss of Arthur. He was always so kind and generous. Loved the Christmas parties on Hawthorne Av. Thoughts and prayers with you All.

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Arthur. A hard working man who provided well for his family, Uncle Arthur had a big heart and a smile for the many children who spent time at his Hawthorne St. home. He touched many lives and I will always remember him fondly.

Thank you for serving our country. May your family find comfort in their faith and may you Rest in Peace.
