Not sure what to say?

I met Art as a Freshman at NC State in 1962 and were friends. On a whim, he and I drove to Chapel Hill one school night to see Joan Baez, one of those memories from one´s youth you never forget. I always wondered what happened to Art and was pleased to learn of his many accomplishments. My condolences and sympathy to the family. Art was truly a very unique person.

Thought of Art today after so so many years. Classmates at BC. Always kind and friendly. We were the same age at the time. God bless Art and his family.

Diane,
We're so sorry for your loss. Art always had a smile, a witty comment and a great sense of humor. We'll miss him.

Diane, please know all our love and prayers are with you. Art was always quick to offer an encouraging word to me, even when I saw him at MGH when he really didnt feel very well.

Art was a man's man and I always enjoyed his sangfroid under sometimes extreme circumstances. You could always count on him to find the humor in any circumstance. I wish we had had more time together to continue our discussions. God bless him - Diane, Amy and I are sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Capstaff, so sorry to learn of the passing of Art. He was a neat guy, true gentleman, and one of my favorite members at the EYC. He will be truly missed. Again, my sincere condolences. Rich--former EYC longtime launch driver.

For the past 35 years I have known Art. It is with great sadness that we all have lost a great man.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Diane. Art was a wonderful person.
He will be greatly missed.

It is such a sadness to lose a friend you've known and loved for so long. The joy though overwhelms everything knowing he is in the arms of Jesus.
