Read MoreI met Art as a Freshman at NC State in 1962 and were friends. On a whim, he and I drove to Chapel Hill one school night to see Joan Baez, one of those memories from one´s youth you never forget. I always wondered what happened to Art and was pleased to learn of his many accomplishments. My condolences and sympathy to the family. Art was truly a very unique person.
