Not sure what to say?

Rest In Peace, Art. All who loved you will miss you forever.

I trained under Art at Suburban and he was a great teacher. He told me about the joys of working in a small community hospital and years later I did just that and he was right. I always knew that if you were his patient in the ED, you would be well and carefully cared for. His passing is a great loss to the emergency medicine community. My sincerest condolences to his family

My family and I met Art 3 years ago when we moved into the neighborhood. He was so welcoming, so very kind, caring and always so sweet to us. My boys would wave to him from their playroom when he would walk by on his daily walks and he ALWAYS waved back. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. He will be missed so much.

Absolutely enjoyed working with Art, he was missed when he moved on, always felt safe with him here at St. Mary's ER night shift. Dr. Ostrum was so kind and compassionate to my Dad when he needed his care. May he Rest In Peace.

RIP Dr. O. I'm grateful to have worked with you and as rough around the edges as you may have seemed was just as kind and funny as you were. Another great loss.
