Not sure what to say?

I was in the League City Jaycees and was on the area team that ran Art for office in the Texas Jaycees. I still have the team necktie (ties for men and scarfs for the ladies, all in the same pattern). I've lost contact with most of the Jaycees over the years but have thought of Art every time I see that necktie. RIP

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

To the family of "Big Art",

I graduated from Austin High School with Art. He had a great sense of humor and knowledge. He was very civic minded! He really cared about our community.

On behalf of Val and myself, our deepest sympathies to the family on the passing of our very long-time friend, Art. We remember fondly our many years in the Texas Jaycees and hold these years dear to us. We pray for Art that he may be in the company of our Lord. And we pray for the family, that they may have peace. Our love to the family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

May the bereaved family be comforted by reflecting on God's promise to be with you and to help you cope with your great loss. Isaiah 40:13.

Art, Karen, Amanda and Collin and the Oswald families,
Ken and I are praying for comfort and love sent from God for all of you during this time. We love you and wish you kind memories and reminders of the wonderful time you spent with Arthur Jr. You are special friends that we thank our Lord for blessing us with your friendship.
Frances Boutin and Kenneth Erickson

Art was a good friend and neighbor, always willing to lend a helping hand. I am going to miss him. Jim

On behalf of Chalks Truck Parts we are deeply saddened of the loss of our friend. To the Oswald family we extend our condolences and pray God will continue to bless his family.
