Arvin Tap

We are so sad over the loss of our friend Arvin Tap. We will miss his wisdom, laughter and his devotion to Jesus Christ. I sought his advice many times. He was a true entrepreneur with great ideas.

Arvin and his family once lived on 42nd/Cherokee in Grandville. I know that because many years later he gave me a document he received from the farmer who owned the farm turned neighborhood. My Grandfather was that farmer and in 2001 when I started working at Fastco Arv visited me and gave me the document my grandfather had given him so long ago. The document listed the names of all the farm families who had previously owned the farm and ended with Arvin Taps name on that particular...

To the Tap Family, So sorry to hear of the passing of Arvin. We were his neighbors for many years and always enjoyed his conversation. It´s soothing to know he will be with Pearl again, and pretty sure Heaven just gained one heck of a groundskeeper! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time~

Arv will be lovingly remembered as a wonderful friend who was funny, wise, never afraid to let his love for Jesus show. And now he and Pearl are together again, singing and praising God. We will miss him, but know that he is in Heaven where we will see him again! Our prayers will be for peace, for the family that he left behind.
