Dear Mary and Petrovek Family:
What a splendid tribute to Gus at the Mass this morning. My happy recollections go back to 1966 when we both served on Senator Jack Quinlan's campaigns.
I was the Senator's Norwood Coordinator and Gus was one of Jack's most enthusiastic supporters.
I recall Governor John Volpe apointing Gus as his personal represetative on the Norwood Housing Authority where he served his community with distinction

Mr. Petrovek,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Mary, We were really shocked to hear about "Gus." We knew he was at the coffee club as late as Friday and he was fine.
We are truly sorry and Barb and I send our prayers and thoughts to you.
