Not sure what to say?

I just saw your story on the news last night, I am so sorry because you seem like such a good soul, you never got the chance to enjoy your life. I read what your Mom wrote about you, you must have been amazing! I know you are happy in heaven, I wish your family and friends peace as they deal with your loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. There are no words that can properly express how deeply sad we all feel about the senseless loss of Aya. I remember him too as always happy and smiling, as you so beautifully described in your letter. This is how EVERYONE seemingly remembers him - and what a wonderful memory!

Our son Michael went to NDE with Aya and I was his music teacher. My husband, Jim, was his basketball coach. We all have very fond memories of your...

Maria - I cried as I read your "heart" so beautifully and painfully expressed. We will not forget to pray for you as you live on without Aya's presence. God bless you. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

A Mother's Tribute to Aya Nakano

It has been two weeks. Even as we held funeral services and memorials for you, I still can't believe that you're gone, anak. I keep looking at the door, hoping that at any given moment you'd walk right in and ask me “What's for dinner, Mom?” Then you'd put your arms around me and ask me “What's up, Mom?” with that big smile on your face. I miss that big smile that melts my heart, that loud infectious laugh that makes me want to laugh along...

May God's peace hold the family together. I pray that a greater good comes from this senseless act.

Rest in peace, young man. My heart breaks for you and your family.

What a senseless death. My heart breaks for your family.

I am heartbroken at your sudden loss. I did not know your son but I feel your pain. May memories comfort you during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

So sad. My deepest sympathy is with his family and friends.
