To the Bennett Family I extend my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Sister Barbara Bennett who I had the privilege of serving with before and during her tenure as Lay Council president of the Salisbury District of the Philadelphia and Baltimore Conference of the A.M.E. Zion Church. Sis. Bennett was an effective and respected leader who exemplified the Laymen's theme, "Come With Us to Christ." She will be sorely missed in this part of God"s vineyard.
