Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Coburn invariably waved kindly to me when I rode my bicycle past her home as a teen. Her name returns to me easily, across the miles and years, Martha had been an occasional playmate. I'm deeply sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. Barbara was a mentor and colleague to me. The many children in her care in Weston were so fortunate. She was a wonderful teacher and person.

To Barbara's family. Barbara was deeply committed to mass Audubon's Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary. As a member of our Sanctuary Committee she was a tireless volunteer. Her passion and energy inspired us all. She will be deeply missed by all of us. With heartfelt condolences. Christy Foote-Smith, former Sanctuary Director (until June 27).

To all Barbara's wonderful children-- 7/2/15--I just read about your mother's death and I am unstrung. She was one of my favorite friends. Even tho 84 is a respectable age to leave this world (I also am 84) it seems far too early. She and I went to see Mary Lou Strong last Christmas so I at least got to visit with her then.

Dear Jay and family,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences and know our thoughts are with you at this time.

Dear Dirk, Ed, Martha, Rob and Jay, Thank you for generously sharing your mother's time and attention with the world. She was a lodestar for me in the time I've known her, and an inspiration to all who knew her. For as much as I will always miss her, I know your grief is exponentially heavier. Greatest sympathies to each of you.

My deepest sympathy to Barbara's family. Barbara and I both taught in the Weston system. She was my mentor, my support and my friend. After her retirement our friendship continued to grow. She was my Revels buddy for over thirty years. The Christmas season didn't really begin until Barbara and I made our way into Cambridge each year. Barbara was a very special lady. I will miss her.

My deepest sympathy to Barbara's family. She expressed love and pride for all of you. I taught with her for many years at the Brook and Country Schools, where I observed her kindness and caring for children. I know that ripples out into the world through each child she taught. Peace and love to you.
