Not sure what to say?

Ms. Rawski taught first grade to both our children, Ben and Julia, at Stevens School. Her emphasis on reading made lifelong readers of them both. Ben is also a special ed teacher who directs a small private school. Now their children are pre-readers and readers and as they home school, Ms. Rawskis former students pass on her gift to their children. Our family also enjoyed her classroom animals. For all her contributions, we are grateful to her. Her passing Is a sad loss for the community.

Joyce,

I am so very sorry for the loss of your sister. My deepest condolences to you and your entire family.

Sincerely,

Michelle Mazzeo

Miss Rawski was my 2nd grade teacher at Stevens School. I'm sorry to hear of her passing.

Dear Joyce and Janet,
I worked with Barbara at Stevens School. I am sad to say that we hadn't spoken for a long time, but I cherish our friendship. I loved her sense of humor and her dedication to her students. I've enclosed a photo of her and I at a Josh Groban concert. I know he was one of her absolute favorite singer!
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May your fond memories of Barbara sustain you.
Sincerly,
Terry

I just heard about this from my sister Marcia and we are all so saddened by this and our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family

Janet and Joyce. Condolences on the loss of your sister.

Ms. Rawski was my 2nd grade teacher many years ago. I still remember how much I loved being in her class. She was a wonderful teacher! So sorry for your loss.
